He may Refuse to President !!!!!!

ISLAMABAD : According to news latest breaking stories, President Asif Ali Zardari has invited Supreme Court Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to a dinner meeting at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Monday, days after his restoration to the top judicial office.

Despite repeated efforts by this correspondent, Supreme Court Registrar Dr Faqir Hussain, who speaks for the chief justice, was not available for comments. However, as per news latest breaking stories, it is highly unlikely that Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry will accept the invitation, as he has already decided to stay away from such events.

“This is the traditional feast that the president hosts in the honour of outgoing and newly-appointed (in the instant case restored) top office-holders, including the chief justice, chiefs of the armed forces and others,” an official told our esolgsmnews team.

As per other news latest breaking stories, Justice Chaudhry did not attend a function at the Presidency held in connection with the Pakistan Day on Monday, as Dr Faqir Hussain said the chief justice was busy reading files of the cases coming up before him the following day.

As per news latest breaking stories, after his restoration by a full bench of the Supreme Court on July 20, 2007, Justice Chaudhry put a full stop to the practice of meeting the president or the prime minister and attending functions of social nature. He had even refused to see the attorney general Justice (retd) Malik Qayyum, news latest breaking stories.

As per other news latest breaking stories says between July 20, 2007 and November 3 that year, when he worked as the restored chief justice, Iftikhar Chaudhry not only refrained from going to functions of the president and prime minister, including those where they were the chief guests, but also directed high court chief justices and judges to follow suit.
